Well, a little something I did over Christmas. I made felted flowers from my spinning wool. This was my first time in the world of felted botanicals and I was rather pleased with the results. I added some beaded accents and voila! Two of my greatest loves are mated into a new craft. Maybe someday I will write the instructions down.

What I'm Spinning: Citrus merino

This is my last completed knitting project. Over Christmas when I took a few days off I learned to knit shawls. This is the Victorian lace something-or-other shawl. The pattern is free on elann.com. The yarn is natural mix Patons Classic wool, and this is the second shawl I ever completed, took me about a week total. Yes, I goofed on part of the left side, but hey, it's my second shawl!
